I had a great time, despite the heat, checking out a new photo location...it's  the perfect place for a portrait session if you can't decide between an urban or park setting. Fun colorful walls and shop fronts in a very clean upscale venue along with a lovely pond with trees, bushes and park benches. Of course it helped that I was taking pictures of a completely adorable 9 month old little guy! :)

I've danced most of my life, it's an awesome form of expression and art, and I love it. As a very young girl I told my father that I was born to dance. So it just made sense for me to branch out into dance photography. I don't have a studio, and didn't want to do typical recital portrait type pictures, I wanted to explore dance as an art form and just have fun with it, because dancing should be fun! My husband will be re-doing my website for me sometime in the nearish future and I plan to include an entire gallery of dance images, but for now, here are a few of my favorites:

Sunflowers are my favorite flowers in the world, I'd love to just decorate my house with tons of them. I've never taken pictures in them, though, so I had a very spur of the moment trip to a sunflower field to take some pictures this evening.  I had a blast doing my first non-engagement couple session...they were wanting something a bit less traditional, more artistic, slightly edgy...it was a lot of fun doing something out of the norm for me & they were awesome to work with...I love how the pics came out...here are some of my favorites!
